An AFD mission comprised of Mr. Luc Le Cabellec, Country Director for the Philippines, Mr. Stéphane Carcas, Infrastructure Specialist from the Paris Head Office, and Ms. Adeline Dontenville, Project Officer at Manila office, visited the city of Cebu from May 17 to 19, 2011. The AFD team participated, along with the World Bank, in field visits for a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project which AFD is considering to co-finance. The mission team had the opportunity to discuss the project with the Department of Transport and Communications as well as with the Cebu City Government, in particular the Honorable Mayor Michael L. Rama.
