Alliance Française de Cebu
Les Amis de la France (the Friends of France) was founded in Cebu in 2007 by a group of Filipinos, French and other nationalities to promote the French language, the cultural exchanges and amiable relationship among its members as well as between the Philippines and France, Europe as well as Francophone countries (63 countries use French as national language, teaching language and/or international language).
In 2009, Les Amis de la France became the Alliance Française de Cebu. It receives support from many personalities, of which the most devoted are Mr. & Mrs. Michel Lhuillier.
Located in the heart of Cebu, the AFC office has a nice reception area, one conference room equipped with modern audiovisual equipment, a multimedia library and four classrooms. The much loved and luminous area has been fully renovated while the multimedia library is furnished with documents and works devoted to France, Europe and Francophone countries.
